What is the minimum basic set for walnut/hazelnut/almond processing?
The basic set for walnut processing includes an industrial walnut cracking machine and a vibrating sieve with aspiration for sorting of cracked walnuts 200 kg/h.
The basic hazelnut processing set includes an industrial hazelnut nutcracker and a 100 kg/h machine for separating the kernel from the shell.
The basic set for almond processing includes an industrial almond nutcracker and a 100 kg/h machine for separating the kernel from the shell.
Depending on the volume of nuts and needs, the set of equipment can additionally include a calibrator for nuts in the shell, conveyors, belt inspection tables, etc.
What is the basic set of equipment for a walnut/hazelnut/almond orchard?
To process walnuts/hazelnuts/almonds in the orchard, you need a nut peeling machine to remove the green pericarp and a nut dryer in the shell. This set of equipment will automate the harvest and preserve the quality of the nut.
Depending on the size of the orchard and the volume of the harvest, the type of equipment and capacity are selected. It can be a separate equipment or an individual industrial washing and drying line.
How to choose a walnut/hazelnut/almond cracking machine?
For industrial walnut cracking, machines with a cone cracking principle are used. This principle provides the highest yield of whole kernels – up to 90%.
For industrial hazelnut cracking, we use an industrial nutcracker with a drum cracking principle. It provides a whole kernel yield of up to 90%.
For industrial almond cracking, we also use an industrial nutcracker with a drum cracking principle. It provides a whole kernel yield of up to 90%.
How to choose a walnut/hazelnut calibrating machine?
To calibrate walnuts on an industrial scale, a drum (rotary) calibration machine is used. A linear calibrator can also be used if the volume of walnuts is small.
For hazelnut calibration, a drum (rotary) calibration machine is used. The number of fractions is from 2 to 9, depending on the volume of hazelnuts and the required size.
What kind of processing line do you recommend?
For walnuts – automated walnut processing line 200 kg/h.
For hazelnuts – industrial hazelnut processing line 200 kg/h.
For almonds – industrial almond processing line of 200 kg/h.
These lines are fully automated, cracking and sorting the nut kernel. As a result, the kernel is ready for packaging.
To complete the operations, it is recommended to equip the line with a suitable calibration machine for nuts in the shell and an inspection tape for kernel quality control.
