Opis
Advantages of the nutcracker are:
- High performance. Processes up to 50 kg of walnuts per hour or up to 400 kg of walnuts per shift;
- Saving time. Can work without prior sizing of the walnuts, although it is recommended;
- A high percentage of whole kernel yield – up to 80%;
- Versatility. It has a gap width adjustment and is suitable for walnuts of any size, humidity, and shell thickness;
- Ease of use – This walnut cracker can be easily handled by 1 person.
Operating principle of the cracking machine:
The nutcracker operates according to the next principle: The walnut is poured into the nutcracker hopper. From the hopper, the walnuts are captured by the hooks of the chain conveyor and fed directly into the splitting mechanism – conically arranged plates. The plates compress the walnut around the entire perimeter of the shell, which ensures a high-quality and gentle crack. The kernel of the walnut remains intact. After cracking, the walnut is sent to the unloading container.
Next, the walnut is sent for manual processing – separating the shell from the kernel nuts and sorting the kernel by size. Or sent to special equipment that automatically separates the shell and sorts the kernel into fractions.
