Description

The rotary walnut calibrator is designed to sort walnuts in shells by size. It calibrates walnuts into four fractions: 28, 32, 36, and 40 mm (the most common walnut sizes). Upon request, the opening sizes can be customized to calibrate walnuts of different sizes, hazelnuts, or other nut crops. Calibration (sorting) of walnuts is performed before cracking or before selling walnuts in shells.

Working Principle:

walnuts are loaded into the hopper, and the machine is activated. During operation, the walnut moves inside the drum and, when it aligns with the corresponding opening based on its size, it is directed to the discharge container. Thanks to the convenient unloading system, walnuts can be packed into bags directly during the operation of the calibrator.
