Description
The rotary walnut calibrator is engineered to sort walnuts in shells by size, dividing them into 8 distinct fractions. While the standard calibration focuses on the most common walnut sizes, the opening sizes can be customized upon request to sort different sizes of walnuts, hazelnuts, or other nut crops. This calibration process is essential before cracking or selling walnuts in their shells, ensuring uniformity and quality.
The advantages are:
- Makes setting up the walnut cracking machine: Helps to quickly and accurately adjust the cracking machine to the desired walnut size.
- Increases whole kernel percentage: Reduces the amount of crushed kernels and insufficiently cracked walnuts.
- Enhances walnut value: Improves the market value of walnuts in shells by ensuring uniform size.
- Efficient Sorting: Effectively sorts large quantities of walnuts into 8 distinct fractions.
- Customizable options: Custom drums with openings for calibrating non-standard sizes of hazelnuts or walnuts can be manufactured upon request.
Working Principle:
Walnuts are placed into the hopper and the machine begins its operation. As the walnuts move inside the drum, they align with openings matching their size and are directed to the appropriate discharge container. The calibrator, which sorts walnuts into 8 distinct fractions, features a convenient unloading system, allowing walnuts to be packed directly into bags during the calibration process.
