When to collect green walnuts?

Green walnuts are most useful in the period from early June to early July, when the walnut is milk ripeness and the shell is still soft. Check the ripeness of the walnut with a toothpick or wooden skewer – pierce the nut and if the toothpick passes easily, then the walnut is suitable for use. At the same time, a walnut of the same size is collected, clean, without damage and stains.
