To obtain the maximum benefit in hazelnut and almond orchards, a workshop for their processing is equipped, because the cost of peeled nuts is several times higher than unpeeled.
For splitting hazelnuts and almonds at home, use the Universal handheld nutcracker. It is completely steel, which ensures a long service life, and easily adapts to any nut size from 0.5 to 4 cm – hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts and bear nuts, apricot pits. The yield of the whole kernel from hazelnuts reaches 90%.
For automatic splitting of hazelnuts and almonds, electric nutcrackers Optima 1 and Optima 2 are used. Like the Universal, they are easily adjusted for any nuts ranging in size from 0.5 to 5 cm. And the yield of a whole kernel from hazelnuts and almonds reaches 90%.
What are the differences between nutcrackers:
Optima 1 has a capacity of up to 50 kg / h and a high speed engine. The nutcracker is more suitable for chopping hazelnuts, as well as other nuts in case getting a whole kernel is not important.
Optima 2, with a capacity of up to 70 kg / h, is equipped with a low speed geared motor. This ensures gentle splitting and allows the nutcracker to be used to obtain a larger percentage of the whole kernel from hazelnuts, almonds, hazelnuts and other nuts.
In the industrial processing of hazelnuts and almonds, splitting is only part of the process. It is important to size the nut before splitting. For this, a calibrador lineal is used. It is easily adjusted to the desired nut size (from 1.5 to 5 cm) and can be calibrated in 2-5 fractions.
For splitting hazelnuts, the enterprises use the Optima 2 nutcracker or a modified version of the nutcracker 100 kg/h.
The advantages of the cone nut cracker are its productivity up to 100 kg/h and the fact that it can work without prior calibration of the nut.
Next, the cracked nut must be passed through an aspiration column, where the kernel will be separated from the shell.
For sorting the hazelnut kernels by size, a vibrating sieve with appropriate holes is used.
Most of the listed equipment has flexible settings for any type of nut. This prevents the equipment from being idle and allows you to maneuver and process the nut that is in demand at the moment or whose yield is higher.
